The following are my notes on a set of videos by Andrej Karpathy (video 1, video 2) that provide an excellent high level overview on what LLMs are and how they’re trained. It is by no means meant to supplement the content of the videos and recommend giving them a watch yourself.

I came across Steph Ango’s Blog and saw this set of questions. I’ve been in a bit of personal turmoil lately and self-reflection. Figure in a time of existential crisis maybe giving some thought to this year might be better than just going through the year and seeing what happens.

In its current state Meraki has no notion of users and stores everything locally. Therefore, the first step in supporting cloud persistence of tasks is to create the concept of users such that data can be associated with them and that account can be accessed from various platforms.
