Bringing Meraki Online - 4. Deadline Day

Looking at the timestamp its Feb 22nd and I didn’t hit my Feb 20th goal; it happens.

But on the bright side this was something I’ve wanted to do for Meraki for a long time and didn’t get around to it. Having a date set out and working towards it recreated that feeling of excitement and got me making progress.

I think its fair to set a new goal out; April 1st. I plan to release the work in two parts, the first will be a new app where the frontend is indistinguishable and almost a 1-1 swap for the backend. The second update will be a facelift design and functionality wise, but that will take some time to sit and think about a consistent brand identity across web and mobile. For now I’ll give myself one more month to work out the backend complexity and make sure the general functionality of the app is stable.
